Starting from July 1, 2026, anime enthusiasts traveling between Kyoto and the renowned anime attraction “NARUTO&BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” at Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island will benefit from a more streamlined journey. A new direct bus ticket package is being introduced, offering a seamless travel experience by combining a round-trip highway bus service from Kyoto Station to Awaji I.C. with admission to the anime-themed park. This initiative aims to simplify the day-trip process for both local and international visitors, eliminating the need for transfers.
The highway bus journey, which takes about 90 minutes, provides a scenic route featuring stunning sea views and bridge crossings before reaching the vicinity of the anime park. The package includes an admission ticket that grants access to two key attractions within the park: the “Heaven’s Scroll (Ten no Maki)” three-dimensional maze and the “Earth Scroll (Chi no Maki)” mission rally. This direct bus service will be available exclusively on weekdays, with major holiday periods excluded from the schedule. Adult tickets are priced at 8,200 yen and children’s tickets at 4,250 yen, inclusive of taxes. Purchases can be made through online platforms, with the requirement of exchanging the ticket at the Kyoto Bus Ticket Center.
